About Me.
My name is John Kuck and I am a freelance web developer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I specialize in web design & development, search engine optimization, and internet marketing. I typically work with small business clients to build featured and functional websites. I am skilled in xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and content management system integration.
I have been freelancing for over a year now, and love what I do. My goal with every project is to find solutions that best suit both the business and the customer who will be using the website. I enjoy the challenges that come with building a new website, and the skills I gain in the process.
I also enjoy writing when I have extra time. I don’t think I’m very good at it, but it seems to be a skill that improves with practice. I was recently published on Freelance Switch, a large blog about freelance work with over 26,000 active subscribers.
When I’m not working on a web project or writing, I’m usually playing hockey in some form. Hockey is my second life and I still try to play at the highest level possible. Right now, I play goalie for an A league team out of Royal Oak.
