The ‘web 2.0′ revolution popularized many new things in web development, one of them being the use of high-quality stock photography in the design of websites. I’d like to introduce you to my go-to free stock image site that I’ve been using and referring to clients for a long time now: www.sxc.hu
Stock.XCHNG is the best free stock photo gallery that I’ve come across in my web travels. Every image on the site is free. Most of them are usable without restriction. Below is just one example of the quality images you can find free from sxc.hu. I recommend you head over there and have a look at their images for yourself! I haven’t built a website yet that I couldn’t find a few usable images from Stock.XCHNG.
